Lenovo Legion 24-10: put smoother motion at the centre of your setup
When a fast-moving game feels difficult to follow, screen size is not the only specification worth examining. The Lenovo Legion 24-10 prioritises a 240Hz refresh rate in a compact 23.8-inch Full HD display, making it a candidate for players who value motion smoothness over a larger, higher-resolution screen.
Its IPS panel combines wide viewing angles with 99% sRGB coverage. The stand also adjusts in several directions, so you can position the screen around your seating arrangement rather than accepting a fixed viewing height.
For a desk used for both gaming and everyday tasks, this is a focused combination: high refresh rate, a manageable screen size and practical positioning options.
What 240Hz changes—and what it does not
A 240Hz display can refresh its image up to 240 times per second. Compared with 60Hz, that gives it the opportunity to display new frames more frequently, making movement look smoother when the connected system supplies enough frames.
The monitor does not generate those frames for your computer. Your processor, graphics hardware, game settings and connection all affect the result. To make the most of the display, select a supported high-refresh-rate mode in your computer’s display settings and check your actual in-game performance.
Full HD also involves fewer pixels to render than 2560 × 1440 or 4K. For the same game and settings, that can make higher frame rates easier to reach, although performance still depends on your system.
The Lenovo Legion 24-10 therefore makes most sense when your priority is responsive-looking Full HD gameplay, rather than maximum pixel density.
Understand the response-time specification
Lenovo lists a 0.5ms Moving Picture Response Time, or MPRT, alongside response-time levels ranging from 4ms to 1ms.
These are not interchangeable measurements. The 0.5ms MPRT figure should not be read as a guarantee of 0.5ms input lag or the time taken for every pixel transition.
When setting up the monitor, compare the available response-time modes with the games you actually play. The most aggressive setting is not automatically the best-looking option if it introduces visible trails or overshoot.
AMD FreeSync Premium and VESA Adaptive Sync are also supported. With compatible hardware and settings, adaptive refresh can help reduce tearing caused by a mismatch between the game’s frame delivery and the display’s refresh cycle.
IPS colour for the hours between games
The 23.8-inch IPS panel provides a 1920 × 1080 resolution, 300-nit brightness and 99% sRGB coverage. That combination gives the Lenovo Legion 24-10 a role beyond gaming, including browsing, watching videos, preparing presentations and everyday image work.
Colour-gamut coverage describes the range of colours a screen can reproduce. It is not, by itself, proof of professional calibration or colour accuracy.
The monitor also accepts HDR10 content. Treat this as format support rather than a promise of high-end HDR performance: HDR10 compatibility alone does not establish premium brightness, contrast or local-dimming capability.
An anti-glare screen surface helps manage reflections from the room around your desk.
Adjust the screen before your next long session
The supplied stand offers height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot. Raise or lower the display to suit your eye level, angle it towards your seating position, or rotate it for a different desktop task.
These adjustments are useful if several people share the desk or if your setup changes between gaming and work. They also reduce the need to improvise a monitor riser simply to achieve a suitable height.
If you prefer an arm-mounted arrangement, the Lenovo Legion 24-10 supports a 100 × 100mm VESA mount. Check the arm’s weight rating and installation requirements before fitting it.
Connect your computer and plan your audio
Two HDMI inputs and one DisplayPort input provide options for connecting compatible source devices. Lenovo specifies support for 1920 × 1080 at 240Hz over the monitor’s HDMI 2.1 TMDS connection. The source device and cable must also support the required mode.
The HDMI 2.1 label should not be interpreted as a claim that this is a 4K display. The panel’s native resolution remains Full HD.
There are no built-in speakers. Plan to use your headset, computer audio or a suitable external audio setup. A 3.5mm audio-out connection is provided, but the monitor does not include a USB hub or USB-C laptop charging.
